Manufacturing secrets

The scents were developed by Véronique Debroise, a perfumer, with high quality standards to educate young generations to have an olfactory culture with the finest perfumery raw materials and thus help them discover the scents of nature. The scents are then produced in our factory in the Yvelines.

A box created and manufactured 100% in France.

Usage tips

Our scent capsules are guaranteed for a minimum of 2 years of olfaction and can last much longer if they are closed after each game with the proper cap. Keep the game away from heat sources.

Can't recognize a scent? Don't panic, smell is a sense that can be trained! Someone who isn't used to recognizing scents without written help may find it a difficult exercise, but we guarantee that with a little practice, it will become child's play.

Our first tip is to learn to categorize the scent you smell: is it sweet? fruity? woody? floral? etc.

Our second tip is to know what this scent evokes for you. Indeed, the sense of smell is the sense with the most memory! A scent can therefore evoke a season (summer strawberries), a person (the lavender scent from your grandmother's closet), a dish, a shampoo, a place, etc. This will automatically help you make the connection and put words to your olfactory sensation.

Finally, scents are like colors. They are full of nuances. Just as there are shades of green, there are multiple nuances of apple: Green apple, Golden, Granny Smith, Apple juice, Apple compote... The scents offered in our games are therefore one of the many nuances of the scent that we have tried to make as realistic and high-quality as possible.

Having difficulty naming a scent doesn't mean you don't have a sense of smell, but just that you don't yet have the brain plasticity to make a connection between the perceived sensation that arrives in the perception center, the hypothalamus and the language center. This is acquired over time, as perfumers and wine tasters can do.
