The Patisse scoring knife is specially designed to cut and open baguettes easily. With the knife, you can make cuts in unbaked bread. During baking, the bread opens at the score line. This prevents the bread from tearing during baking. The knife is equipped with a blade guard to place on the blade when not in use.
