FunCakes Sugar Paste - Mellow Yellow - 250g

The Mellow Yellow sugar paste has a beautiful bright yellow colour and a delicious vanilla flavour. Perfect for covering a cake and cutting out shapes. Knead well before use and roll out on a thin layer of icing sugar. You can also use the sugar paste for modelling or create different shapes and designs. Also suitable for colouring with food colouring. Let the sugar paste rest for one hour after colouring (covered) for best results. Knead the sugar paste again before continuing processing. To cover a round cake with a diameter of 20 cm, you will need approximately 500 g of sugar paste.

Preparation: The following process is recommended for best results: Let the sugar paste reach room temperature. Knead the sugar paste firmly until it is smooth and elastic. Sprinkle a little icing sugar on the work surface and roll out the sugar paste with a rolling pin into a uniform shape (2-3 mm thickness). Turn the sugar paste a quarter to prevent it from sticking. Are there still small cracks visible on the edges when the sugar paste is rolled out? Knead firmly again until the edges are smooth when rolled out. Then the sugar paste is ready to use.
