Can I have the Day Hub™ on its own?

The Day Hub™ can be used on its own with basic functionality for more independence. By connecting it to Day Connect, you can be alerted to tasks in different rooms of the house.

Are Day range devices available in different colors?

The Day Hub™ and Day Connect™ are available in a single color. The design has a modern, contemporary finish that blends perfectly with our Relish Radio.

What are the dimensions of the Day Hub™ and the screen?

The dimensions of the Day Hub™ are as follows... H 185 mm W 247.5 mm D 27.6 mm The screen measures 154 mm x 86 mm (7-inch screen) This is larger than standard digital devices to facilitate visibility. However, it's not so large as to be intrusive, and the modern, contemporary design is very attractive.

Do the devices keep accurate time?

The devices in the Day range use advanced technology to guarantee accurate time and date. They automatically update to the correct date and year, even if accidentally unplugged for weeks on end.

How are the Day Hub™ and Day Connect™ combined?

The Day Connect™ and Day Hub™ can be associated with or without a wifi connection. On the Day Connect™, press the menu button, then scroll to "Associating and de-associating devices", press the OK button on the side. It will then guide you on how to associate devices in just a few steps.

Can you tell me more about task alerts and how they work?

Once set up, task alerts will sound on this device at the same times every day, helping you to follow a regular routine.

When a task is due, the corresponding task button will flash orange, and an audible alert will sound. When you've completed the task, press the task button to mark it as finished. It will then glow green, giving you a visual record of tasks completed that day (tasks not completed will continue to glow orange). Please refer to the Day Hub™ manual for more information and tips on setting up task alerts.

Will I be able to see the screen clearly at night, how bright is the screen?

The Day Hub™ and Day Connect™ are equipped with an automatic dimming function depending on the light level in the room. The user has the option of limiting the automatic dimming settings, for example, if they don't want the automatic dimming to reach the lowest point. We understand the importance of supporting ambient light levels that are not distracting or abrasive to look at.

Do Day range products run on batteries?

No, the products require an AC adapter. However, there is a battery that will provide a backup if the device is unplugged, and data will not be lost. This should not, however, be used as a normal power source for the device.

What languages are supported?

Day range devices can be operated in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, German and Dutch.

Can the devices be wall-mounted?

Yes, the Day Hub™ and Day Connect™ can be wall-mounted. Instructions on how to do this are provided in the manual accompanying the product.

Can devices in the Day range be set to a 12- or 24-hour time format?

Yes, you can choose your preference for a 12-hour or 24-hour setting. You'll be guided through this during initial setup.

What will the date format look like?

It can be set to DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY. Other text options are available, and you'll be guided through them during the setup process.
