Use FunCakes Gold chocolate fondants to make your own candies, chocolate decorations, icings or a drizzle on cakes and cupcakes. Or dip fresh strawberries in melted chocolate! Paradise. Chocolate fondants can be melted in a bain-marie or in the microwave. They're made from real Belgian chocolate. Because when you've spent hours in the kitchen working on this beautiful piece of art, you don't settle for just the best.
When you want to use the product to add flavor to mousse or bavarois than melt the product in the microwave without following the steps above (stir to avoid burning). Due to different temperatures, the fondants may melt during transport. They can still be used, but they may not arrive in their original wafer form. Follow the usual instructions on the packaging for processing melts.
Preparations: Pour the fondants into a microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave at maximum power (±800W). To distribute the temperature evenly, remove the chocolate every 15/20 seconds and stir well. Stop heating when the chocolate is almost completely melted (small pieces of chocolate can still be seen). Keep stirring until the chocolate has dissolved. Make sure no water is added!
