Ally Display — the clock that keeps you connected with your parents

Stay connected with your parent, without them having to learn anything.
Ally Display is a tablet that looks like a clock. You place it in your loved one's home. From your phone, with the Ally Companion app, you send them a photo, a voice message or a reminder, or you video-call them. For them: no menus, no passwords, no account to create.
When nothing is happening, it is a large, clear clock showing the day, the time of day and the time. When you check in on them, it is a bridge to you.
Tablet from CHF 189.– (one-off payment), then a subscription from CHF 0.– (Discovery plan, free for life). You manage everything from your phone: your loved one has nothing to pay or install.
What you do from your phone
- Send a photo: it is displayed in large format at your loved one's home. If they touch it, the caption is read aloud.
- Send a note or a voice message: it is displayed in large format and read aloud, with nothing to open.
- Make a video call: the tablet rings and shows your face, and they answer with a single gesture. If they don't notice it ringing, you can make the tablet answer from your phone.
- Schedule their routines: medication, meals, walks, appointments. The reminder appears at the right moment and they confirm it with a single gesture. A missed reminder? You are notified, without alarm.
- Share your photos: the whole family adds to an album that scrolls beside the clock.
- Announce a visit: "Marie is coming at 3 pm" appears on the clock. Your loved one knows who is coming and when.
- Set the clock remotely: digits, words or hands, time announced aloud, automatic night mode.
And the other way round: your loved one can call you by touching the call button on the clock, then your photo. No number, no app.
The whole family can take part: everyone installs the app and writes to the same clock (depending on the chosen plan).
Who is it for?
- For your parent: independent but isolated, or with early memory problems. Doesn't like smartphones, but likes knowing that someone is thinking of them.
- For you: you live far away and want to stay in touch every day, without imposing technology on them that they won't be able to use.

What families say
"My mum (96) is in a care home in Nyon […]. Your Ally Display is the only means of communication between her and me, and my mum is delighted, thrilled, and so am I."
Serge, Graubünden, her son
"Reassuring to be able to have video calls with Mum without her having to do anything at all on her tablet. […] Being able to tell her remotely about her appointments, our visits and the nurses' visits is a real luxury. She loves watching the photos scroll across the screen."
Nathalie, her daughter
"Thanks to it, not only I but also my brother and my daughter can contact my mum […] whenever we want. […] I regret not buying it sooner."
Fabienne, Lucerne, her daughter
"Ally helps my father (88) a great deal to stay at home and to keep better track of time. The video calls are a real bonus: it's like visiting him in person."
Caroline, Appenzell, his daughter (translated from German)

Frequently asked questions
Do they need to know how to use a tablet?
No. No menus, no passwords. To answer a call, a simple gesture is enough, and you can even answer on their behalf.
What if there's no Wi-Fi?
Choose a 4G version with a SIM card (CHF 10.– per month): the tablet works without Wi-Fi.
Which size should I choose?
The 25 cm suits most homes. The 28 cm is the most readable for poor eyesight. The 20 cm fits on a bedside table.
Who pays for the subscription?
You do, from your phone. Your loved one doesn't have to manage anything.
Can several children use it?
Yes. Each one installs Ally Companion and writes to the same clock. The number of caregivers depends on the plan.
Is it a surveillance camera?
No. The camera is only activated during a call, announced by a ringtone and your face on the screen.
