The larger pieces, around 10 cm wide, are all unique in size and shape, and are easy to handle for people with dexterity difficulties. The box is designed to help and encourage people to complete the puzzle independently; it frames the assembled puzzle perfectly and features the final image printed on the inner lid. High-contrast colors and a clean, uncluttered image with a central point are additional details that have been successfully tested with people suffering from mid-stage dementia.

How big are the puzzle pieces?
Each puzzle piece in the 13-piece collection is unique in size and shape. The average width is around 10 cm.

Is there a picture inside the box?
Yes, the puzzle image is on the lid of the box and can be used as a guide.

How do I clean the puzzles?
The relish puzzles are now made of cardboard and we don't recommend the use of chemicals to clean them, but you can use a very slightly damp cloth to wipe them down, with water only.

Do you have puzzles with more pieces?
Yes, you can try our 35- or 63-piece puzzles for an extra challenge. We're also expecting a new 100-piece puzzle to be available in June 2021.

Are the puzzles suitable for the visually impaired?
It all depends on the level of impairment. Our puzzles are designed with a strong color contrast, and the 13-piece puzzles have a main focal point and larger puzzle pieces, to help the visually impaired. Each puzzle piece is uniquely shaped and can therefore be assembled by touch, which can make assembly easier for the person concerned.
