Marble cake mix

Make a delicious marble cake with this mix from Dr. Oetker. The light-colored paste intermingles with the darker chocolate paste - a visual and gustatory delight! With this mix, preparing Dr. Oetker Marbled Cake is so quick and easy that there's even more time to enjoy the result. Suggestion for delicious marbled muffins! Prepare like cake, bake 25-30 minutes for 12 muffins.

Instructions: Add: 1dl milk, 1 tablespoon milk, 150g softened butter (margarine), 3 eggs. For a 25cm cake tin. 1. To prepare the dough: Grease and flour the cake tin. Preheat oven to 180°C (hot air 160°C). Place cake mix, softened butter (margarine), eggs and 1dl milk in a bowl. Beat with an electric mixer for approx. 3 minutes at maximum speed to obtain a smooth dough. 2. Fill the tin: Pour 2/3 of the batter into the tin. Stir cocoa and 1 tbsp. milk into remaining batter. Pour the dark batter over the light batter. Using a fork, draw a spiral through the two layers of batter to create a marbled effect. 3. baking: Bake in the lower third of the oven for 50-60 minutes. After approx. 15 minutes, score the cake lengthwise to a depth of 1cm using a sharp knife. Finish baking. Leave the cake to cool in the tin for approx. 10 minutes, then remove from the tin and place on a wire rack.
