Color Mill - Lavender

Achieve flawless, vibrant and beautifully bold color finishes on your cake creations, using Colour Mill Oil Blend's line of oil-based food colorants. Colour Mill oil-based food colourings allow the color to disperse into every part of a fat-rich base, including sugar, eggs and butter. This is because all water-based materials have been removed and replaced with oils suitable for baking; these oils blend much better than water-based gels (which are known to repel oils from your baking).

Unlike traditional gel dyes, Colour Mill's dyes love the fats and oils in your baked goods, and use them to disperse the specially formulated dye. The result is amazingly vibrant, rich and consistent hues that won't fade. It works especially well in buttercream, Swiss meringue, chocolate, cake batter, ganache and sugar doughs. It also works in flower pastes, gumpaste, modeling pastes, marzipan, cake mixes, pastries, icings, isomalt, piping gel, lace mixes and more.

Not only will your cakes look amazing, but you'll use much less coloring because it has a high concentration. You only need one tiny drop at a time to achieve the desired shade - we recommend using the end of a cocktail stick.

The bottle comes with a squeeze-top dispenser for added precision.
