Description / Blanc Manger Coco - Edition Suisse romande

Principle of the game

The principle of Blanc-manger Coco is very simple:

  • each player receives 11 white cards to start
  • a first player (the "Question Master") reads a blue card (hole card) from the deck
  • the other players choose a card from their deck and place it face down on the table
  • the Question Master shuffles the blank cards and then reads the blue card with each blank card. He chooses the best one according to his own criteria

How to win

After each round, all players check to make sure they have 11 blank cards in their deck, otherwise they draw cards again.

The winner of the previous round keeps the blue card he won and draws a new one to read: he becomes the Question Master.

The first player who has 5 (or 10 or 20 for the craziest) blue cards wins the game.

Cards with 2 or 3 holes

Some blue cards have 2 or 3 holes: the players have to put 2 or 3 cards from their deck face down on the table. The bottom card is read first.

The Question Master collects all the decks of cards and reads the blue card with each pack. He chooses the best combination, the winner scores a single point.

Number of cards

The Blanc-manger Coco games have 600 cards:

  • 132 Blue cards (with holes)
  • 468 blank cards - including 12 blank cards to create your own cards
