Gianduja, sometimes spelt gianduja, is a paste of chocolate and finely ground hazelnuts, to which sugar and fat can be added. A successful gianduija is characterized by its unctuousness.
Gianduja can be used as a filling for chocolate sweets, but also incorporated into preparations (entremets, tarts).
Its quality is such that it can be enjoyed on its own, pure, or even as a spread.
