Color Mill - Fuchsia (20ml)

Achieve flawless, vibrant and beautifully bold color finishes on your cake creations, using Colour Mill Oil Blend's range of oil-based food colorants, specifically this Colour Mill Fuchsia. Colour Mill oil-based food colorants allow the color to disperse into every part of a fat-rich base, including sugar, eggs and butter. This is because all water-based materials have been removed and replaced with oils suitable for baking; these oils blend much better than water-based gels (which are known to repel oils from your baked goods).

Unlike conventional gel colorants, Colour Mill's colorants love the fats and oils in your baked goods, and use them to disperse the specially formulated colorant. The result is amazingly vibrant, rich and consistent hues that won't fade. It works particularly well in buttercream, Swiss meringue, chocolate, cake batter, ganache and sugar pastes. It also works in flower pastes, gumpaste, modeling pastes, marzipan, cake mixes, pastries, icings, isomalt, piping gel, lace mixes and more.

Not only will your cakes look amazing, but Colour Mill will also help you get more color for your money. The high concentration means you use much less than you normally would for even brighter, more colorful results. You only need one tiny drop at a time to achieve the desired hue - we recommend using the end of a cocktail stick.

Using more drops will increase the intensity of the color and less will create softer shades. Create color slowly, mixing your paste to achieve the desired shade.

The bottle comes with a squeeze-top dispenser lid for added precision. Please note that the pigments used in each color vary in weight. Some will weigh more than others, but all colors have the same strength and are filled to the top. Mill color can be diluted with alcohol to form an edible paint. Please note that due to the oil content of the colors, it may take longer than average to dry.
