Organic Bourbon vanilla pods - Dr. Oetker (2pcs)

The delicious aroma of vanilla within everyone's reach: Dr.Oetker Bourbon vanilla beans are the fruit of the Vanilla Planifolia orchid. The aroma, contained mainly in the pod's tiny seeds, gives your pastry creations a subtle, refined fragrance. One vanilla pod can flavour 5 dl of liquid or a 500 g flour pastry.

How to use: One vanilla pod can be used to flavour 5 dl of liquid or a pastry containing 500 g of flour. To use: Cut the Bourbon vanilla pod lengthwise and add to the liquid. Bring to the boil, remove from heat, leave to stand for 15 minutes and remove the Bourbon vanilla pod. For a more intense aroma, scrape the pulp and seeds from the pod with a knife and add to the liquid. To obtain a seedless pastry, bring the liquid with a whole bean to the boil, remove from heat and let stand for 20 minutes.
